It is the largest biennial trade fair for agricultural machinery, equipment and supplies in the Balkans and South-East Mediterranean, and one of the five most important trade fairs of the primary sector in Europe. The doors of Agrotica opened for the first time in 1985 in Thessaloniki.

Since then, each of its events attracts thousands of people from the entire spectrum of agricultural entrepreneurship who want to be informed about the new trends in the sector, as well as the modern technologies applied worldwide.
